Wow, three years ago! One of the stops on a cruise I went to in 2011, it did not stand out as due to the rain that we had. We walked around nearby a stream and saw salmon trying to swim upstream as otters were picking off the ones on the side to eat!
If I ever go back to Alaska, I would definitely research when is a better time to go to avoid the rain!
